But first – coffee. If these three words are your daily mantra, you will feel right at home in Seminyak. Chandra Villas’ resident coffee lovers are happy to report that our vibrant neighbourhood is home to many of the best cafes in Bali. Here are our top picks for grabbing a great cup of coffee in Seminyak!
Right Around the Corner
You can reach these top-notch cafes in 10 minutes or less from Chandra Villas.
Local Coffee
Local Coffee is a cute little coffee stand located just 100 metres from Chandra. It’s also one of our personal favourites! Their lattes and ‘cinos are perfectly brewed and they serve good pastries, too. The incredibly friendly service really takes this place to the next level.
How I Met Coffee
This chic little café is another great find, hidden from the hustle and bustle. They open bright and early at 7am – the perfect incentive for enjoying a 10-minute morning stroll from your villa. The monochromatic café serves fresh pastries and delicious coffee, whether you prefer yours hot or iced, manually brewed or espresso-based.
Revolver Espresso
Revolver Espresso is one of the longest-standing and most well-known cafes in the area. Located about 10 minutes from Chandra, the venue is known for its photogenic interiors, excellent coffee and yummy breakfast. Revolver stays open late and also serves lunch, dinner and cocktails. Naturally, the one to try is their espresso martini!
Best for Brekkie and Brunch
Words cannot espresso how much we love these delicious breakfast spots in Seminyak.
Brunch Club Bali
Just as the name suggests, Brunch Club Bali specialises in all things brunch and over the years, their uber-fluffy pancakes have become the stuff of legends. Their eggs Benedict are amazing, too. Of course, Brunch Club Bali also serves the perfect lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites to go with the food.
Coffee Cartel
If you are a fan of latte art, you have to visit Coffee Cartel! This beautifully styled café is famous for their Instagrammable coffee – you can request anything from your name to a tropical palm tree to be sketched on top of your coffee. The photogenic coffee goes perfectly with their yummy all-day breakfast menu. Their sausage and egg muffins are to die for and they do great smoothies, too.
Sisterfields
This chic café draws inspiration from relaxed Australian brunch culture and serves all the brekkie staples you could ask for. If you’re looking to indulge, try their chocolate brioche French toast. Pair it with their strong yet smooth cappuccino and you’re ready to face the day.
For Serious Caffeine Lovers
If you’re a die-hard coffee fan, you simply must visit these caffeine hotspots where high-quality beans reign supreme.
Core Coffee Lab
Core Coffee Lab is a dream come true for coffee lovers. True to its name, the venue allows visitors to experiment and learn about coffee beans and different brewing methods – you can even try brewing your own coffee! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their beans which are sourced both locally and from across the globe.
The Farmer Brews Coffee
The Farmer Brews Coffee specialises in Balinese coffee. This is a real farm-to-cup experience, as the beans are sourced from their own farm in Kintamani (which you can visit) and roasted in-house. The café itself is petite, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up in flavour. Both the coffee and snacks served here are divine!
Expat Roasters
This speciality coffee producer supplies the beans for many of Bali’s best cafes, restaurants and beach clubs, so why not go straight to the source? Offering both local and internationally sourced beans, Expat’s café on Jalan Petitenget is cool and modern and the baristas are extremely well versed in all things coffee.
Not sure about you, but all this talk about coffee has left us parched for a perfectly brewed latte! Our staff will be delighted to recommend even more great coffee spots – or deliver your brew of choice straight to your villa if you prefer. See you in Seminyak!
