It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: you can officially start planning your next trip to Bali! With testing and quarantine requirements scrapped and visa on arrival available once again, the island is ready to welcome you with open arms. Here at Chandra, we’ve been keeping busy and this year, we’re ready to kick things into high gear. Here’s what’s new at Chandra Villas in 2022.
We’re upgrading our villas
Unlike many properties in Bali which closed down during the pandemic, Chandra Villas never ceased operations. This means all our villas have been kept in immaculate condition and our staff training has always been up to date. In other words, we’re more than ready to welcome you back to beautiful Bali! We haven’t just settled for maintenance, either, but have invested in upgrades as well. Last year, we replaced a lot of the equipment in our villas. In 2022, we’re upgrading all the bathrooms in Villa 1, our family-friendly 3 bedroom villa.
We’re welcoming new local hotspots
For the past two years, news reports have mainly focused on Bali’s quiet streets and dormant airport. In reality, a lot has been happening in Bali since you last visited! So many new cool venues have opened up that it’s hard to keep track. In 2022 alone, we’ve welcomed a new beach club, must-visit restaurant and opulent cocktail bar to the neighbourhood – and the year’s not over yet! Neighbouring areas like Canggu, Kerobokan and Umalas also have heaps of new restaurants and cafes to explore. Just ask our staff and we’ll be happy to make recommendations and help with table reservations and taxis.
We’re maintaining our high standards
Our top priority has always been to make our guests feel safe and comfortable. In 2021, Chandra Villas passed the CHSE Certification process with flying colours and we officially became CHSE approved. But checking that all-important box doesn’t mean our work is done. In 2022, our mission is to keep up the good work and to maintain our high standards in hygiene, safety and environmental sustainability.
We’re welcoming more and more international visitors
Ever since travel restrictions were relaxed in early 2022, Bali has seen a huge increase in overseas visitors. In March, international arrivals in Bali shot up by a whopping 1,000% compared to the previous month! Though we at Chandra had been welcoming guests throughout the pandemic (again, we never closed!), this year we are seeing a definite uptick in guests arriving from overseas, whether that’s repeat guests or first-time visitors.
In 2022, Bali is turning a new leaf. As always, our number one goal at Chandra is to keep delivering our signature service and continue to earn more reviews like these:
“Amazing is the best word… The villa was just perfect, clean, and comfortable with everything anyone could need. All the food was great and cooked to order. The best thing ever was the staff. It was our first trip to Bali since 2019, I have missed it so much.”
